  • SHOE COMPANY

    shoecompany

Okay so there’s this shoe company, right? And they’ve created these sneakers that are just flying off shelves. Everyone has them. Your best friend, your older brother, everyone. Because they’re FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!! They’ve got this chemical coating that makes you run faster. (It’s true, some genius scientists proved it). Plus, you got ups. Thought you could jump before? Git outta the way LeBron.

The problem is after a while your feet start to shrink. And your skin peels off. It’s disgusting. There is even news of people dying as a result of using this product. But if you try to stop wearing them, you run slower than you did before, and you can’t jump. At all. Without the We’re talking, zero ups. Everybody knows this is happening, even the shoe company. But people keep buying the shoes, and the company keeps selling them, making money hand over fist.

So when people’s feet shrink and their skin peels off, or even if they die – whose fault is it? The shoe wearers, or the company’s?

  • Company’s shouldnt make products that you can die from.

  • this is a trick question isn’t it?? like the shoe co. is the tobacco co. and the shoe buyers are the smokers?? hehehe. tricky tricky… ~_^

  • Do the shoes come with a disclaimer? Cigarettes do…

  • this is a trick question right?  because the shoes are cigarettes, and the shoe company is tobacco companies right?  and youre funded by a tobacco company right?  so really youre asking me if its the users fault that YOU make things that kill them?  of course youre not making this fair, presenting your product in a trick question, and making the parallel product actually good for you at first, but YOUR product isnt really, right?
    right?

  • Something I don’t want to believe.

  • It’s more the company’s fault than the people. Even though the people are to blame for being dumb, it’s not entirely their fault. People as a whole are just a bunch of sheep who will go along with the latest trend to make them the most glossy sheep out there. Like those Ugg boots. Or cigarettes.

The company is led by a board of people, and not many either. People who make decisions on what goes out, what’s safe, the look of the product etc. etc. The company should be the one held responsible for all of this because they’re the ones who deemed the product safe for distribution, and should be the ones smart enough to be individuals, no matter how much money they’re making off of it.

    I hope that makes sense?

  • I don’t think these shoes actually exist… didn’t fool me ;)

  • I really hate how you ask these questions. I think everyone has the right to make their own decisions so why dont you stop trying to make it seem that when we all come to the same conclusion we are so smart and wonderful because it is you who are not. THe truth is you are a worthless company doing the same thing you try to make us think you are trying to prevent.

    May you burn.

  • It’s the shoe buyers fault if they knew the shoe did this due to a label the shoe companies make to put on the box; however, it’s the shoe company’s fault if they did not make such a label.

  • Really, it is both.  Understandably, the first innocent few who did not know the consequences told all their friends how awesome the shoes were.  However, once everyone started seeing the effect these shoes were having, the company should have immediately shut down and people should have vowed not to buy a single pair.  But companies are greedy and people are stupid.

  • the company’s for not letting the public know.
the wearer’s for not taking the damn shoes off

  • That is the weirdest scenario ever.

    But it made me laugh.

    :p

  • both, for sure.
everyone knows smoking is bad for you and the people around you and they do it anyway. people like to pretend they’re invincible. some people even continue to smoke after they are diagnosed with cancer.
    but:
“companies are greedy and people are stupid.” – lairofpain

  • it’s the company’s fault, definatly. people are stupid. tobacco companies use our stupidity to sell us products, even if they kill us. we will do mostly anything that people tell us and the tobacco companies know that.

  • The company.  In any other industry, products that are harmful are recalled.  There should not be an exception for this product just because it’s popular.

  • in the type of society we live in today, it would be the company’s fault. we as individuals take less and less responsibility for our actions now even when we know they’re wrong
