  • depends.. physically fight or like picketing and whatnot? I would fight for my belief that everyone should be raised to realize that they have thoughts and do exist in something that know one understands.  Too many people don’t even realize themselves..

don’t know if that anything like what you were going for.. but it’s what it made me think of…

  • of course–always. it’s almost more virtuous than believing in the “right” thing. (i.e. tobacco companies fighting for what they believe in, even though it’s wrong)

  • Of course. Imagine how stagnant things would be if we did not? However, the issue is not whether we believe in something, but how passionate we are about the cause. I can be against child labour, but unless I vehemently oppose it happening and am willing to come up with a clever, effective means to stop it, there is not much power in my opinion alone. Blogging raises awareness and may plant the seed for change, but if you are going to fight for something you have to do more than simply be aware there is a problem, you must really give a damn and come up with solutions.

  • Depends on what you believe it.
And how you fight for it.

Most of the time I do believe so- but doing it in a way which will not affect other people too drastically.

I can’t say much else, the question was all a bit too vague.

  • yes

  • If you believe in whatever it is you believe in very strongly, then sure. But there’s a huge difference in really believing in something and thinking something is right because we are told it is right.

I am not sure what else there can be said, the question was a bit… vague.

  • Everything we live in now is something someone fought for. People win, so yes it is worth it. Always.

  • Liberation:

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant,
    gorgeous, talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so
that other people won’t feel insecure around you.

We were born to manifest the glory of God within us.
It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously
give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear,
    our presence automatically liberates others.

  • Yes, especially if it’s true. And there are some things left that are true for every person, who lived in any age of any status or culture, and would still be true whether there were human beings around to believe in it or not.. Nice question!

  • Definantly not.

PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT IS GOING ON AROUND YOU.

  • *Unless what you believe in is god and providing the government with more control than the constitution will permit.

If that is what you believe in, you are in luck, and you can fight for it. (not that you have to.)

  • You don’t believe in ANYthing, Crispin Porter and Bogusky – you’re a fucking advertising company. As such you’re a bunch of stripey-shirted shallow fuckwads ready to jump on the next cash-milking exercise that comes your way – whether that be heading the next marketing campaign for tobacco or not.

  • It is what you believe in.

You do what you can and hopefully followers will continue to fight for the same belief and one day that will be the more satisfying.

  • i believe in “no fighting”

  • it is only truly worth it to fight for something you believe in if it is something that you feel in your soul. like what your fighting for is a part of your own personal truth. and that without it you wouldn’t be who you are, therefore, making you unimportant without it.

that kind of belief is worth it.

(but i also think fighting over the last donut may be worth it)

  • ugh… i hate “don’t smoke” adds.  they seriously make me want to take up smoking.  “Okay, we know this is getting deep”  yeah, that got so deep.  that got back of the cereal box deep.  Because it’s so ambiguous, SO many people would say “no, don’t fight for what you believe in!”
I hate that patronizing tone.   I hate it!   So annoying!!!

  • if you don’t fight for it then you must not belive in it very strongly.

you must always be ready to give an answer (or a punch) to anyone who asks/bashes your belief or faith. if you don’t then you obviously have no direction or influence in your life.

  • It is always, ALWAYS worth fighting for what you believe in. Imagine how boring and bland the world would be like if no one fought for what they believed?

  • it depends on what u belive in.. if u belive in human sacrifice then i suggest u dont fight…
