If it’s true that “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”, then is it worth the 1/3 of young smokers who will eventually die to make the 2/3 who live stronger?
im glad you tell it like it is. you really make people think.
…
why don’t you do something about it? We get it, smoking is bad, doing something about it or shut up, please.
@ skilletstevestat- What is this “you,” you are telling to “shut up,” supposed to do about a smoker’s choice to smoke? You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink. The point of this campaign is to raise awareness; it is the smoker’s job to make a difference by actually stopping. If you want help quitting, there are many governmental organizations that can help you.
So I am tired of truth.com being on xanga. This is a true story.
Huh? Theyre not stronger…
& Gomen- this is for the people who havent already started…its important because they get the word out that smoking sucks and is uber gross
@M00nDoll - Actually, they are just annoying. It’s not really getting much of a word out either. Half the questions on this site don’t make any sense.

Everyone eventually dies, so yes, they do tell it as it is, but they twist the words. Its pathetic; we all know smoking is bad, it leads to cancer, etc etc etc. We have the awareness, there, done, over. Is it? No.
@theDramaOfMyLife - I am suggesting that the time and money spent on the truth campaign could be better spent on a legal campaign against certain practices of tobacco companies. Also it could be spent to provide discounted products to help quit smoking (much like planned parenthood does with birth control).
@skilletstevestat - Okay, that is a valid argument. I have seen too many people who bash the “Truth” campaign just because. And yes, I agree with you.
@M00nDoll - Uh, sure. They get me thinking about faulty logic.
Yes and no. It makes the surviving population stronger via Natural Selection.
