  • "If a light cigarette can be just as dangerous as a regular, why do they call them light?"

Light cigarettes are called 'light' because they are just that - light. They hit, well, lighter than a full-flavored cigarette, therefore they are known as 'lights.'

I'm not against your cause at all. In fact, even as a smoker, I really respect how hard you guys are working to inform smokers and non-smokers alike about the dangers of cigarette smoke. I applaud you, but that question was dumb.

  • @tallgrasss - you do realize they're using tax money to solve a "problem" that the world doesn't really see as a problem right? the tax money that comes from buying those oh-so-good cigarettes? ^^

haha i'm teasing. i dont really know where they get funding from.

but it's interesting to see that more and more people just don't give a damn.  Either that, or people just aren't using xanga.com anymore and "truth" needs to move elsewhere (maybe facebook???)

i'm wondering how many pagehits this page has gotten since this first went big.

  • @takenNameless - um....truth is on Facebook.  Search for it.
