id take you more seriously really if i hadn't met those who proclaim your word like the gospel. These associates of yours a few years back when i was a younger lad tried their damn hardest to proclaim their word to myself and a few friends. Sure, i might have taken them seriously, had they not be falling down drunk all over themselves and claimed how alcohol is less dangerous than cigarettes. Considering that many if not more people are killed every year due to liver complications, alcohol related crashes etc, i just love how uneducated most of your "truth army" really is. So keep fighting the good fight, and as well do keep trading one evil for another.

i am an occasional smoker... i find these commercials so effective but i still dont care. i wonder if anybody feels like i do. maybe its just because its occasional smoking but all of that eventually adds up right? so i could be getting the same deathly effects as a daily smoker. any thoughts?

I've heard about you for a long time. A team from your campaign actually came and visited an LGBT youth center that I was going to in Atlanta, Georgia. I read some articles at the time about how tobacco companies target young, gay males for future smoking consumption. Sadly, I know a lot of gay guys who smoke, and it really saddens me. I know it's "their body, their choice" and all that rhetoric we have been fed. But with smoking unlike some other things, it really does effect me. I live in NYC, a city that has banned all smoking in public spaces, but I still get smoke blown in my face frequently when I'm just trying to cross the street.
It may sound terrible but sometimes I say, "Cancer" under my breath. It just angers me so much. I try to fathom how anyone would purposefully want to shorten their lifespan, make their teeth gross and nasty, wreak, make their clothes and apartment wreak, and potentially cause fires. But if it makes you feel atleast alittle bit happy.. i love the commercial with the cowboy who sings through the hole in his neck... i think its halarious! I laugh every time. =] Oh yea and the one where the people are singing and there are all those cartoon people and animals.. thats ones priceless too!
Like i said before.. Im a smoker. Im 18 years old and ive been smoking since i was 12. I dont care what people say about it. If you dont like smoking then dont do it. Its your choice. I CHOSE to smoke my first cigarette at 12 years old and i still to this day choose to smoke every last cigarette i light up. And to the people who say they hate people who smoke.. you shouldnt stereotype people and judge them just because they smoke.. We all have to die one day im just making me day come soone
Dear Truth, I don't smoke, I personally think it's pretty gross. However I feel each person should have the right to choose to do so. The way that you manipulate statistics and take quotes out of context from big tobacco companies is dispecable. Due to bogus laws, Big Tobacco is banned from advertising on TV, and therefore you're message is completely one-sided. You are trying to brain wash early teens. I for one find that worse than addicting adults that knowingly choose to smoke. Once again I do not smoke because I do not like it, but every time I see one of your adds, or commercials, it makes me want to go chain smoke a pack.

Truth isn't an anti-smoking group. It's against Big Tobacco's manipulative methods. So for the guy who said he loves cigarettes, I also love cigarettes. For people who do or don't like cigarettes, it's really your opinion and not everyone is going to share it. Live and let live.

Most of my one side of the family smokes. I hate going there for family functions, because everywhere it wreaks of smoke. Most of my friends alway's get cigars when we all hang out, it's just eeh, i can't stand the smell, it's almost to the point where it makes my stomach sick.
hey smoking is BAD!!! cuz of my family smoking, i can't run long distances without losing my breath. if i was being chased in an ally by a person, i would be raped and dead.
