  • Singing Cowboy

    There are over 8.5 million Americans living with tobacco-related illnesses. With this in mind we saddled up a horse, found a cowboy with a hole in his neck as a result of smoking, and asked him to sing a little ditty.

  • I apologize but I cannot watch your video.  I couldn’t even look at the guest speakers when I was still in school because it grossed me out.

  • Of course, then there’s the older generation of Americans whose doctors told them to start smoking to relax as a method of reducing blood pressure.

  • omgod is there rele holes in ppls neck and they snip out your tongue

    gross!

    i will never smoke….anyways

    lol

    please comment back to tell me

  • If your goal is to alert people to the dangers of tobacco (something everyone already knows), you are failing with this Xanga. Instead of posting about creating “Hairy Mail” or unicorn screensavers, why not dig up information on the industry and post about it? :gasp: What a novel concept: staying on topic!

  • Yup, this xanga sucks. Who told you that showing gross images would make people think it twice before lighting another one? ..

  • I’m totaly for this site. I hate tobacco and I hate what it does to our nation. You think SARS, or the West Nile virus was bad? Look at the people dieing right here in America!

  • this is agreat site. I against smoking. we had to watch a video inschool about it. and saw a smokers lung and a healty lung!

    <3

    Kelly

  • People should just let people smoke. It’s their choice, not anyone elses.

  • hahaha i would never smoke bc i dont want bad lungs but i belive that its ur choice but i also belive in freedom of speech so i aint gonna say anything bad

  • That video is pretty powerful.  Rock on against tobacco.

  • My late mother-in-law was a chain smoker and died of lung cancer and my late Dad, my stepdad who is also now dead both smoked so did my stepmom she is still alive. My ex-husband smoked and so did his sttadad ahd hehan sevilever strocks and wounld stop smoking and also had hartffailure and a buuch of ohtehers my father in law was in his early 70s and my mother-in-law was in her early 60s

  • I’m against smoking and everything, but if people want to go waste their lives, it’s their choice.

  • Yeah! Preach the truth, shame the devil! Someone Comebody!

    Eh, but in the light of other things, what’s so bad about dying from smoking? I mean, what does it profit a man if he quits smoking but forfeits his soul? Eternity in hell, seperated from God is worse than dying from lung cancer, getting your tongue snipped out, OR losing one of your lungs.

    Think about it–those are all things that happen once, then your done. But hell is ETERNITY. How DEPRESSING and, honestly, quite frightening.

    Now, before you write me off as one of those fire and brimstone preachers (hahahaha) Let me tell you about heaven, and how easy God made it for you to get there. Why? Because He is flippin crazy ’bout you!!! ((Plus I’m gonna be there, so I want you at the party. We gotta have someone who can dance, cuz I certainly can’t)) They might not tell you this at your church, but God is emotional and passionate about you. Remember the movie “Passion of the Christ”? Well, God was passionate enough about you to go through all that to pay the price to buy you back from the devil and bring you back into relationship with God (cuz He flippin loves you!!).

    This might come as a surprise to you, because most people think that God is angry with them, or doesn’t care. Not true!!!

    So, how to get to God, or how to get to heaven? you might ask. Simple. God already made the way for you. ((cuz it was pretty much impossible for us to do it ourselves, ya know, by praying 50 times a day, or “living a good life” or “being a good person” or even having a gramma that teaches Sunday school… sorry peeps)) So God made the way for you. He made the ONLY way for you. The way, His name, is Jesus Christ.

    Jesus is the ONLY WAY. ((ooh, now I’m being “exclusive”, snobby, ignorant, and “intolerant”, right?? No, I’m being bold enough to tell you the TRUTH. There’s only on way to get to God, to heaven. Like there’s only one password to access your xanga site, THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY– Jesus Christ.)) So here’s the facts::

    Romans 3:23– For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. ((okay, this means I sinned, you sinned, everybody sinned and now we’re screwed. but wait….))

    Romans 6:23– For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. ((((whoa-ho-ho!! we WERE screwed, but God had a better idea! He decided to give us a gift–eternal life!!!–in Christ Jesus. Again, eternal life is only found in JESUS, contrary to popular belief. AND it’s a gift, so YOU HAVE THE POWER TO ACCEPT OR TO DENY. To accept is to believe, to deny is to choose not to believe. That simple))    Next…

    John 3:16, 17, 18 — For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever BELIEVES IN HIM shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but TO SAVE THE WORLD THROUGH HIM. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but WHOEVER DOES NOT BELIEVE STANDS CONDEMNED ALREADY, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. ((Have YOU believed???))

    Romans 10:9– That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord” and BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART that God raised Him from the dead, you WILL BE SAVED.” (emphasis mine)

    So– if you want to believe, say this to God right now– “”"Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God, I believe that You came to earth and died and rose again for me. Come be Lord of my life and forgive my sins. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”"”

    If you really meant that, God heard you and you have just become a child of God!!! You have Jesus in you, and you have eternal life. Now quit smoking!!!! (hahaha. ok. not funny) Check this:

    Romans 8:38– For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither present nor the future, nor powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to seperate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. ((this promise is for YOU if you have made the decision to believe in Jesus)) GOD WILL NEVER LET YOU GO.

    Recap: Smoking is bad. God is passionate and emotional about you. He wants to be in relationship with you. He made the way for you–Jesus Christ. All you have to do to receive Jesus and eternal life is BELIEVE (put your trust in, cling to, rely on, be fully convinced of) Jesus Christ as YOUR Lord and Savior. And nothing can seperate you from His love.

    love from anotha’ homo sapien. SQ

  • i love this and all the other videos, showing people the results of smoking is so much more effective than just saying “its bad.”

    thanks for getting the message across one mind at a time.

  • ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    THE MARLBORO MAN LOOKS A LITTLE DIFFERENT

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • ooooo kkaaaaay that was weird
  • this site kick ass, thanks
  • pretty gross…gotta admit.
  • REPENT YOUR SINS@@!!!
  • Well, at least people aren’t smoking crack, snorting blow, or shooting up. That’s never been an issue in America because those aren’t legalized like tobacco. Oh, wait . . .
  • I believe in Jesus. I also watched this movie while smoking a clove cigarette with a bum…quite randomly too.
  • and so why are we attacking the tobacco industry. .and not the people that smoke? Its the tobacco industries responsibility a little in the least, but more so it is personal responsiblity. If people can make the decision to smoke, then they can certainly make the decision to not smoke.. That said, if tobacco companies must be attacked, then advertising must be attacked as well.. if its not pro-active in helping people quit. It is waste, a tremondous waste to spend millions on ads that target companies, when more can be done by helping people quit and live a health lifestyle. I suppose, we should start pointing fingers at prostitutes for people who engage in illegal sexual activity. My suggestion.. the industry dies out on itself, when people stop buying.. There is only an industry, when there is a consumer.. That simple economics, and simple health.
    Good Day
    ren
  • Oh, and I like what you said spunkysgirl and agree with you…no disrespect. Carry on.
  • We watched this in health class.
    Very informative — I’m glad there are commercials like this out there.
  • i actually saw this comercial and it was hudge ..every one started to talk about it at school and was terrified of the guy singing..i would be too.people often dont realize the consequences behind their choices…kudos to you
  • i’m never gonna smoke.
  • Anyone who thinks this is unnecessary probably smokes themselves or is strongly sided with tobacco.
  • lmfao
  • the tabacco company isn’t pointing a gun at smokers heads are they? quit whining and stop buying their products!
  • i find it ironic that most of the doctors and paramedics i serve lunch to every weekend reek of cigarette smoke.
    honestly, theres bigger issues that need to be taken care of first. the only reason 8.5 million Americans are living with “tobacco-related illnesses” is that they’ve grown apathetic within the sea of corrupt society in this country. sort out your prioitys america. people could put the extra effort into quit smoking, but what about after that? they’ll go on feeling depressed and completely useless as they contiune the unforgiving cycle of day to day life, which is probably why they picked up smoking in the first place. people just don’t see the point of quitting, they wouldn’t mind dying.
    people need a cause in life, and sure, “finding faith” may work for some, but in today’s society, people need something more tangible, and less contriversial, something they can look at and know that they’ve made an impact, that they aren’t just waiting die anymore.
    if only people could come together in groups such as these and fight poverty, racial tension, apathy, violence, and hunger.
    sure, smoking kills, and shouldnt be ignored. but in reality, people choose to smoke, they are alright with it and theres no way for you to change their mind. it’s their business whether they legally smoke cigarettes or not, not anyone elses.
    people don’t choose to go hungry or be homeless.
  • snobby it’s all i can say
  • I am 100% against smoking, no matter what “relaxing” or “stress-relieving” effects my friends find it has. Tobacco is a type of drug, and it is having a negative effect on the lives of many people every day. Although the unicorn wallpaper is kinda silly, I support this site!!
  • The video serves it’s purpose.  I don’t know why people have to bash your site because of this video. It is the truth; however, a video and “telling” people what the cons are of smoking will not help them quit. It may deter the yonger ones from starting, but what about those who have been smoking for years?
    I’ve been smoking for about 20 years now, and yes I know the dangers, yes I know what’s in cigarettes, and YES I do feel the effects from lighting up for so long…but this video, smoking bans, and preaching is not going to help me quit. Non-smokers think it is soooo easy to quit. They bash people for smoking, yet they don’t have a clue as to just how addictive and hard it is to kick. Some people are graced with the willpower to quit…but not all.
    If the government wanted to they could go and ban smoking all together, reinstate prohibition only this time it would be nicotine. IMHO the only reason they haven’t is due to the fact that the economy couldn’t handle the stripping away of taxes that smokers pay, afterall we pay to have stadiums built…yet we can’t smoke in them. It’s a double edged sword. If they banned smoking all together, it may be the only way people who have been doing it for 20-30-40 years may be able to quit and then they could tax EVERYONE the same, as they have the smokers, for items they NEED everyday.
    If you truly want to HELP the smokers of the world quit, then why don’t you go after the big tobacco companies and make them pay for us to quit. Do you know that it is cheaper to buy the cigarettes, then it is to buy the patches, pills, and nicotine gums on the market? Many people would rather save money and light up, then pay more money to quit…myself included. All the lawsuits against big tobacco that were won…where is that money? It was thought it was to go to help the smokers kick the habit, but as mentioned previously…advertising and 1-800 numbers won’t help an addict kick it. That money should have gone into a fund so that if a smoker wanted to purchase the patch they would have a barcode like number so they could go to a checkout at their local drug store, get their chioce of smoking deterant and instead of paying out of their pockets…ring up the barcode number given to them and have it come out of the fund. In laymens terms…do something to help smokers quit, don’t preach about how doomed they’ll be if they don’t.
    “Infecting the truth” is a good thing, but it’s not changing anything.
  • I don’t think Jesus has anything to do with smoking ciggarretts, but I am 100% against it. If you want to kill yourself go ahead! I support “TRUTH!” And if you don’t, you’re a jerk!
  • Oh and btw…to one of the previous comments.  People who start smoking today do have the warnings to heed, but 20-30 years ago those warnings did not exist, and by the time the warnings came out folks were already addicted. So to say that it is always the smokers fault, think again. The risks of smoking were not always around and evident to the consumer…until more recent years, so in MANY cases tobacco companies are to blame, because they didn’t show face from the very start.
  • so this conmercial pretty much kicks major ass! it is so true and i have friends that smoke and i sing this tune to my friends and they hate it, i even showed it to my mother, a smoker.
    as for the people who “cant stand to watch this” that’s just too bad don’t smoke or you may end up being the star of one of the *infect truth* conmercials.
    peace
  • I agree totally with this site. Hey, can I link you or something? I love this site it’s hilarious. I don’t understand why tobacco isn’t illegal if it’s worse than heroin and all those other drugs. I’ll never smoke anyway. AND what’s up with the back hair thing? Stay cool.
  • Of course the Marlboro man looks different, the original one has long since died. My old neighbor once recieved a similar operation, minus the hole in the neck, as a result from cigarette caused cancer on his vocal cords. He will always need the assistance of a machine to make even the slightest sound. Every other time I visit I still can’t understand exactly what he says. The very evening he came home from having said operation, he was smoking. It took him awhile to quit.
  • Hey, good job. Get the message out.
  • Wow. Thanks for speaking the truth, but God is the only way to be ‘full’ tobacco, drugs heroine or whtever the person is taking aint good….but God is the only way out of this cruddy earth.
  • damn… smoking is unhealthy for the smokers and those around them..
  • Tobacco is bad!!!! Yipee!!!
    Happy?
    Liz
  • This has got to be one of the worst infomercials I have ever seen. Your audio isn’t synced correctly to your actor and you’re using scare tactics to convince people to come to your side of the argument.
    The whole thing is just a waste of production dollars. Great concept, horrible execution.
    Now then, if you plan to be a gang of anti-smoking Nazis, I suggest that you first attack the invention of the wheel. Did you know that you are more likely to die if you get in your car and go around the block then if you were to fill a tour of duty in Iraq? More people die from automobile accidents and other wheel/transportation accidents then do those who die from cancers and other diseases related to smoking.
    America is a free country. If someone wants to slowly poison themselves, it’s their choice. If you’re going to run an anti-tobacco campaign, why don’t you go after alcohol and marijuana as well? That is, of course, after you successfully ban the wheel.
  • your site is awesome, smoking sucks fucking balls, and that guy above me is a total fag. haha.
  • I dont think this is what I should be getting out of this but what Chords are the guitarist playing? I wanna learn this song!
  • YA i totally love your site i support all of those commercals i love each one because they are all the truth. and they speak it, ive always wanted to be in one. well anyways later
    Brooke
  • Those 8.5 million Americans were exercising their free will. They have every right to put whatever they want into their bodies in any place they please. Your site isn’t going to do much except tell its readers the obvious about the dangers of tobacco. Show some originality and quit stealing stuff from D.A.R.E. already.
  • wts this site about???
  • woot! i live in europe and there isn’t any anti-smoking campaign like that around here. it’s a sad, sad part of the culture. thanks for being awesome! oh and spunkysgirl, leave the Bible out of it. and it’s spelled ‘separate’.
  • i KNEW someone would mention Nazis. how immature.
  • I’m not going to lie. I’m a young person, and I smoke.
    But, I agree with what you guys are doing. I mean, its one thing for kids to hear about cancer statistics and diseases, but its another to actually see them. The shock value alone makes an impression.
    I might suggest showing other things that go along with cancer and lung/heart disease. Someone weak and bald from chemo or someone who has to be on a ventilator at all times. I think that is just as scary.
    I in no way promote smoking, especially not for young people. Its a pretty terrible habit and I wish I had never started.
    Hey kids, I don’t have cancer, but when I wake up in the morning my lungs ache like I’m trying to catch my breath and can’t, and I get winded walking up 2 flights of stairs. I’m not dying (yet) but its already pretty uncomfortable, and I have only been smoking 2 years.
    Cool, huh?
  • thats why everyone should just smoke weed.
  • WELL I HOPE IT WORKS AND THAT PEOPLE QUIT SMOKING.  SECOND HAND SMOKE IS KILLING INNOCENT BYSTANDERS ALSO.
  • here’s my two cents, i started rubbing tobacco just to quit, about 2 months ago
    once i’ve quit i can make the arguement that i quit and if I did, someone else could too, i’d have a little more credibility because i know whats its like to quit, maybe i’m just and idiot, but i like the idea
  • hey thats great to see a company informing people about the evils of smoking!
    big thumbs up :)
  • ewwie.
    im not smoking.
    these lungs are clean..♥♥
    SxE.
  • I seriously do not see the point in this “truth” bullshit.  People are still going to smoke.  Maybe you should just butt out (pun intended) out of peoples lives.  If people want to do something harmful to themselves, let them.  If you don’t like the smoking, move away.  The world is stupid and pointless, and you guys just make it more so.  Fuck off the lot of ya.
  • my dad quit smoking and i got my bf to quit too. i don’t think people realize smoking is a drug and its very addictive. its just horrible for the body.
  • Ugh. What to say HERE…
    I think a lot of people have taken the issue way out of proportion to reality.
    I have plenty more to say, my extended “comment” i suppose you could say:
  • another reason why smoking should be banned
  • Just wanted to say props for this site. My brother began his tobacco addiction when he nearly died and spent 2 months recovering from a four wheeler accident at age 14. He turned to dipping and smoking because “he got bored.” When he recovered and got back to cowboying, he went through quite a lot of tobacco = equivalent to six or seven packs a day. It is damaging – it ruins lives, and the families of those who have to deal with it. Thankfully, we found out before my brother…lost a lung…or developed cancer. The whole process has been the most painful thing I have ever had to go through with someone in my life. Don’t try it. It kills, and when it kills you, you won’t be the only one suffering.
  • I’ve run into a few strangers who have to use an artificial voice box, but it doesn’t necessarily gross me out. Pictures of oral carcinoma are worse.
    I am also a smoker and enjoy my cigarettes.
  • children
    smoking is bad for you
    :D
  • This site does not “suck”. People have the right to know and what sure there may be better ways to target teens than blogs…but when the way is found, in the end more than 2 million American teens who still use blogs will have been made aware of the truth. Why not? What does it hurt? Saying “people should just let people smoke” and “it’s there choice” is like saying, oh…okay…aids in africa…well…they had sex…*which isn’t always true* so just because it may be their choice, doesn’t mean we should allow people to die by one of the world’s most profitable products…
    _smoking: our new genocide_
  • About the unicorn thing earlier, Read the Chronicles of Narnia, the last battle and a few others…you’ll find some pretty saddening unicorns.
  • i love TRUTH commercials. you guys should make one about AIDS.
  • hey
    love the site!
    Jesus is the reason for the season!
    Smile God loves you!
    Sarah ^___^
  • Ha, that’s awesome!
  • Well smoking IS bad. It would be more effective though if you put it like this: “If you were diagnosed today with lung cancer because of smoking, what would you do with the 6 months you would have left to live?”
  • If this to gain money or to get the point across that tobacco kills?  Well, if the people who were smoking since they were teens can’t stop puffing their poor lungs out with that “pleasant” aroma and feeling, they might go find other dangerously addictions like alcohol, cocaine, weed, LSD, and other related drugs out there.
    Like that song you can tame the animal in the cage but you can’t cure their rage….
  • i love this commercial even tho its sad.
  • what the hell, what does tobacco have to do with an eternity in hell
  • Can i just say how much I luv this commercial. My friend and I know all the words to it…silly, I know. But we think it’s so ridiculous that people are aware of the dangers of cigarettes and still continue to smoke. Now THAT is silly.
  • first time i was this on tv i was was thainking “Holy Crack”(see cencered myself) But yes more people should acculy watch this. Smoking is bad and kills TONS of people but those who don’t die acculy suffer more. I know this ladie who helped out with my great grandmother house and she had a hole in her neck. and she still smoked threw it!!! I was so grossed out.
    Xx-nicole-xX
  • This site is good, i like it
  • Good job on making this xanga…we don’t need any more people coming into the hospital taking up beds because of their stupid decisions.
  • There, no eprops.
  • Wow, that’s a great idea. (The video, not some of the comments I’m seeing on here.)
  • The problem with advertisements like this happens to be that people already know the dangers of tobacco. There is no shock factor when you regard the fact that small kids are taught the dangers of smoking. Being introduced to Sally-smokes-a-lot, a tar-filled lung, and the whole nine yards wasn’t enough to stop me. This video doesn’t even scare me. My point is, those who want to smoke, will smoke. The dangers either won’t sink in until they are personally affected by it, or they die themselves. Those who make the better, conscious decision not to smoke, are much better off in life. I wish I never started, and I know I always have the option to quit, but to be honest.. its just so much easier to light up another cigarette.
  • I can’t believe that even the greediest corporations would lie so blatantly to people just to make some money and to let them end up like that cowboy.
    This is just so sad.
  • This is hilarious! Please post more funny videos!
  • i think cigs should be illegal..
    & my friends grandpa actually has one of those. its hard to look at even if hes one of the sweetest men ever.
  • geeez… i double checked my neck for holes in it. this is creepy. damn creepy.
  • wierdness.
    really.
    i love your site though.
    really interesting.
  • so uh anyone seen thank you for smoking? hahahhha yea….. maybe if this wasn’t all about finding that one person, you could focus on statistics and what real people are doing to try to stop this. i mean it’s the government that made everyone start smoking in the first place with all their ads and fancy commercials. and now they want us to stop?? we believe them the first time and look what it got us, why believe them now? not like we’re listening when it comes to getting healthy. for every jenny jones or south beach diet ad theres about a hundred mcdonald’s or burger king or taco bell ones. and some people on here are just saying that it’s gross to watch the video or “aw”. can i cut a whole in your neck and parade you around town? would you like all the looks you’d get? honestly, some people have never gotten out of there little town in their high up prim families. but to those that are talking about other issues on here, yaayyyyyy go you :]
  • I like this commercial
  • um i hate singing cowboys, and so do everyone else, so thats not a good way to spread warnings about smoking……………………
    on the other hand i dont even know how i got here………..
    thirdly, smoking is the pplz own choice, so let ‘em get high all they want.i couldnt care less. i dont want one though, so no thanx
  • bellum_internecinum
    Um. I would stop smoking if I saw these disgusting images of what happens when you smoke. I mean it’s to let you know before you start becoming someone in one of those images. That’s the whole idea isn’t it?
    I am ALL for this site. It’s awesome!
  • Yes!
    Smoking is bad, and it is often frowned upon.
    -ALoudSilence
  • like smoking is the worst thing that could happen
    there are more pressing matters, especially since smoking is a personal choice
  • omg…omg….O.O
    I can`t believe these people in my class would sing this song to my teacher that smokes…they talk about it..and they want to do it…..It`s just plain CRUEL!!!! >=(
  • I hope u can make more videos of how smoking can be bad for you…I`m looking forward to seeing it.
  • hahahaha! ive seen this on the soup and thought it was halarious!!
  • very awsome. i’ve never been queezy for this kind of stuff (my old neibhor had to do this exact thing, he was big on cigars untill they had to ‘snip out his toung’) and i think it’s actually quite ironic. how much did you have to pay this guy, haha!
  • I love this commercial!
  • With all the evidence supporting smoking’s negative health effects, it’s natural to assume people would stop smoking. However, that’s not always the case. I love the way Truth is trying to educate people on this issue, but I feel educating people is not going to resolve anything–after all, everyone already knows what cigs and tobacco can do to the body. What about drugs? Alcohol? There’s only so much we can do for prevention, because it’s ultimately left to personal choice.
  • props to ya :)
  • thats not very accurate. get ur shit straight
  • thats insane
    my grandpa died because he smoked and got lung cancer because of it
    he had stopped for 3 or 5 years i believe but, the cancer had already started
    i’ll never smoke i never will andi do my best to get people to do the same
  • My favorite commerical I have seen from truth.
     I believe commercials like this that present a more shock value, like this, may be more effective. And presented with more facts, of course.
     Well, at least it got my attention.
  • It’s really sad to read some of the negative comments on here. I think it’s pretty lame to laugh at this or make sarcastic comments in an attempt to get a few giggles from strangers on the internet. Why don’t you stop being immature, and take a look at this commercial from a different perspective. Try to realize how difficult it must have been for the “cowboy” to take a life changing experience and display it to the world like this. He did it to try to help others not make the same bad decision he made and end up like him. It’s easy to not take this seriously when you’ve been lucky enough to never witness first hand someone you care about battle a smoking-related illness. Listen, bottom line is – whether you’re a smoker or not – you should appreciate and recognize that it’s a pretty admirable thing to do what this man is doing. He’s educating the youth, which we all should be in one way or another. Whether you want to teach about drugs, alcohol, STD’s, or smoking – we all should be doing SOMETHING. And sitting around on the internet mocking a good cause is just plain pathetic.
  • i don’t believe there is a heaven, and even if there was i would appreciate going straight to hell so i wouldn’t be around any of you idiots.
  • I Saw that On T.V And I Cried B/C I Felt Sorry For The People Who Are Too Stupid To Stop Smoking
  • This is great. i love this. The song is clever and catchy and all of its true. bellum_internecinum I have no idea what the heck your thinking. i know lots of people who used to light up but stopped after seeing what it does to you. It ruins your life. So do sins. You rock FlyChristianDude, CaKaLusa and fat_sauce_for_sale. God bless. “With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks,”Are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?”
    -Jay Leno
  • I’m not just saying this because I smoke, but I’m sick of people who diss smokers, calling them “stupid” and “gross”. Not everyone who smokes is a “jerk”. And before calling someone “stupid”, try improving your spelling, or actually getting your facts straight. I’m not a medical expert or anything, but I am WELL aware of the effects of smoking, and what’s in a cigarette. I do plan to quit one day, because I feel what it has done to my body in this past year, but it’s not commercials like these that motivate me to do so. I’m not completely against this, it probably helped many young people stay away from cigarettes, but not me.
