hey Truth! I like what you’re doing here, but having a name like “truth” kinda makes me wonder why you aren’t sharing truths that are actually unknown? even hard to believe… I’m not a xangan trying to bash you page… just kinda wondering why you don’t give us truth that we don’t already know…
I think that if you choose to share more less known facts, then you should still keep with the commercials about smoking etc.

Jake – The facts may be known to some, but you’d be surprised how many are actually unaware. Beside that, the more you here it the more it sinks in, not to mention you’re in a different scenario of life each time you hear a fact, it may have a different impact on you later on. DARE tells us what crack will do to you, but until you see someone close to you with have their lip self-chewed off and a brain that’s fried deeper than Church’s Chicken, it doesn’t make much of an impact on your melon. Granted…yes, we all know, crack is bad for you, but we also know the same about tobacco, and what has that done for us?

so, it’s a lot easier to villanize tobacco companies than it is to villanize the system in which the tobacco companies, as with all other companies, partake in. they’re in it for the profit and it’s silly to make them out to be the lone bad guy. it’s our choices as consumers that really matter; silly afro grooming games and cigarette company hating don’t really accomplish anything. people don’t smoke because they’re tricked into it; there is no deception present, not anymore anyway.

if only i had millions of dollars to start a competing campaign… I still can’t believe all of the TV channels that won’t let a character say “god damn” but will allow a big anti-tobacco ad to feature the print “Whudafxup?” It’s bewildering to me. I guess when you have a giant part of the legal economy to take out, you get to say whatever the hell you want. I for one, get it. Smoking is bad. It causes cancer. Cigarettes contain a lot of things that are strange. So do hot dogs. I wouldn’t eat a pig’s nose, but I will scarf down a hot dog containing one faster than you can say “No credible report has ever shown second hand smoke to be dangerous.”
At the age of 27 I dated a 20 year old. After tender moments, we would smoke. She made me do it. In 27 years I never smoked. The puking really didn’t do it for me. Well I did smoke crack when I was 19, but never cigarettes…
Anyway, after dating her, I decided I was going to be a smoker. I smoked for three years. Then I tired of it and crumpled up my pack and that was it.
Kids smoke, better grow out of it kids, it makes your breath smell like ass and taste like the man took a shit in your mouth. The legacy of the bad ex was sealed when I quit. Good riddance. Now I have more money for stuff at them rave parties…

Your commercials are retarded and I get tired of seeing them. I am not a smoker, I think those that do are retarded, but your commercials do NOTHING to fight smoking. They are much worse than ANY tobacco commercial that ever tried to “sell” to kids, ESPECIALLY with your company name. Give me a break.
